Carpet of Time is a dynamically unfolding performance that embodies resistance against repressive systems through abstract movements and sounds. Inspired by the geometric ornaments and the “pattern singing” of Iranian carpet weavers, the performers engage in an interplay between geometry and movement to explore how abstract compositions can make the dynamics of resonance, transformation, and the perception of time tangible. Within a 9×9-point grid, constant shifts give rise to ever-new, never-to-be-repeated constellations. In the tension between rigid structure and fluid connections unfolds the beauty of a non-hierarchical unity, where limited space enables boundless collective experience.
