In deren neuer Arbeit Antikörper beschäftigt sich das Kollektiv zone[27] mit Ablehnung | Rejection als sozialem und psychologischem Prozess. Mit einer tiefgreifenden Faszination für die Komplexität zwischenmenschlicher Beziehungen arbeiten die Künstler:innen im Rahmen der Residency mit Erinnerung, mit inneren Skripten und deren Verkörperung.
Dabei stehen Ablehnung und Gemeinschaftlichkeit gleichsam im Fokus. Antikörper bildet eine affektive performative Landschaft, die von 4 verschiedenen Kreaturen | Charakteren bewohnt wird. Deren jeweils spezifische Umgangsweisen mit Ausgrenzung, Scham, Liebe, Hass fügen sich zu einer somatischen Polyphonie.

zone[27] arbeitet als transdisziplinäres Kunstkollektiv – als kollaborativer Organismus – seit 2021 zusammen. Mitbegründet von Alba Glatz, Sophie Renger und Su Huber kollaboriert das Kollektiv zurzeit mit Phoebe Wong, Felizitas Wiesner und KilometroCero. Die individuellen und kollektiven Praktiken von zone[27] umfassen u.a. Performance, Musik, Choreographie, Tanz, Komposition, Bühnenbild, Kostüm, Licht- und Sounddesign.

In their new work Antikörper, the collective zone[27] explores rejection as a social and psychological process. Driven by a deep fascination with the complexity of interpersonal relationships, the artists are using this residency to work with memory, with inner scripts and their manifestations / embodiment.
In doing so, they focus equally on rejection and a sense of commonality. Antikörper forms an affective, performative landscape inhabited by four distinct creatures | characters. Their respective ways of dealing with exclusion, shame, love, and hate form an attempt at somatic polyphony.
A public work-in-progress-sharing of Antikörper will take place on the 25th of September – a warm welcome!

zone[27] works as a collective on disciplinary membranes and is committed to sculpting worlds for visitors to immerse in. At the center of the shared practices lie body-based research, participatory set-ups and choreographic systems that emphasise collective-language-building-in-as-performance.
