As part of the Klima Biennale 2026, eindorf transforms into a resonant space for the body, memory and the environment. Here, a site-specific, multidisciplinary intervention emerges, weaving together choreographic, performative, installation, photographic and cinematic practices into a unified whole.  The starting point is the theme ‚Crisis of Sensitivity‘: an exploration of the deep intertwining of ecological and human crises, and of our capacity to respond to the sensitivities of others — and of ourselves.

The participating artists contribute different perspectives and media that merge into a shared artistic landscape. Through installation and performance Guadalupe Aldrete explores somatic and archaic bodily memories, opening up access to embodied knowledge. In the film adaptation of the contemporary opera DURST, composed by Robert Jíša and directed by Linda Samaraweerová, the public is invited to a musical journey through 6 states of consciousness induced by specific frequencies and based on the Tibetan Bön teachings on lucid sleep. Together with the opera singer Johanna Zachhuber, Linda Samaraweerová creates a live intervention that invites the audience to embark on a spiritual inner journey. Masoumeh Jalalieh moves choreographically between boundaries and transitions in the constant transformation of body and reality. Daniel Zimmermann’s works emerge at the intersection of visual art, film, and performance to question the meaning and sustainability of human behaviour. Tahereh Nourani uses soundscapes and voice to create auditory dimensions that allow us to experience the fragility of perception and enable new forms of listening.

This program creates a dialogue between different artistic practices that emerge as facets of a whole. Thus eindorf becomes a performative landscape, inviting visitors to experience transformations through their senses and bodies.

Im Rahmen der Klima Biennale 2026 verwandelt sich eindorf in einen Resonanzraum für Körper, Erinnerung und Umwelt. Hier entsteht eine ortsspezifische, multidisziplinäre Intervention, die choreografische, performative, installative, fotografische und filmische Praktiken zu einem gemeinsamen Ganzen verweben. Ausgangspunkt ist das Thema Crisis of Sensitivity: die Auseinandersetzung mit ökologischen und menschlichen Krisen, die tief ineinandergreifen, und mit unserer Fähigkeit, auf die Empfindlichkeiten anderer – und auf die eigenen – zu reagieren.

Die beteiligten Künstler*innen bringen unterschiedliche Perspektiven und Medien ein, die zu einer gemeinsamen künstlerischen Landschaft verschmelzen. Durch installation und Performance Guadalupe Aldrete erforscht somatische und archaische Erinnerungen des Körpers und eröffnet damit einen Zugang zu verkörpertem Wissen. In der Verfilmung der zeitgenössischen Oper DURST von Robert Jíša unter der Regie von Linda Samaraweerová wird das Publikum zu einer musikalischen Reise durch sechs Bewusstseinszustände eingeladen, die durch spezifische Frequenzen hervorgerufen werden und auf den tibetischen  Bön-Lehren zum luciden Schlaf basieren. Gemeinsam mit der Opernsängerin Johanna Zachhuber entwickelt Linda Samaraweerová choreografische Interventionen, die das Publikum auf eine innere spirituelle Reise einladen. Masoumeh Jalalieh bewegt sich choreografisch in den Zwischenräumen von Grenzen und Übergängen, in der ständigen Transformation von Körper und Realität. Daniel Zimmermanns Arbeiten entstehen an der Schnittstelle von visueller Kunst, Film und Performance und hinterfragen die Bedeutung wie auch die Nachhaltigkeit menschlichen Verhaltens. Tahereh Nourani erschafft mit Klangräumen und Stimme auditive Dimensionen, die die Fragilität der Wahrnehmung erfahrbar machen und neue Formen des Zuhörens ermöglichen.

So entsteht ein Dialog zwischen den unterschiedlichen künstlerischen Praktiken, die sich als Facetten eines Ganzen herauskristallisieren. eindorf wird zu einer performativen Landschaft, die die Besucher*innen dazu einlädt, Transformationen  sinnlich und körperlich zu erleben.

Guadalupe Aldrete

Guadalupe Aldrete is a Mexican transdisciplinary artist based in Vienna whose work unfolds across performance, painting, installation, video and photography. Through auto-ethnographic and somatic processes she creates immersive performative landscapes that explore ancestral memory, historical continuity and embodied forms of connection. She develops environments that function as spatial extensions of corporeal experience, inviting reflection on somatic memory and the layered relations between past and present.

Her work has been presented internationally at festivals, museums and exhibitions, including Künstlerhaus Wien (2025), the Infinite Present Festival in Ljubljana (2024), the MMSU Museum in Rijeka (2018) and PCP at the Science Gallery London (2023). Solo projects include Chamber III. Through the Surface (WAM Museum, Vienna, 2024), Chamber II. Reflecting River (Mz Balthasar Laboratory, Vienna, 2024) and Un Pueblo (eindorf, Vienna, 2023). She was an artist-in-residence at the Women’s Museum Hittisau (2021) and the Lushan Art Museum (Chengdu, 2018). In 2023 she received the TQW ‚Stipendium für Körper- und Performancepraktiken‘ and became a member of the Austrian Artists Association (Künstlerhaus).

Masoumeh Jalalieh

Masoumeh Jalalieh is an Iranian choreographer, performer, and dancer based in Vienna. Her artistic practice explores the intersections of movement, ritual, and embodied knowledge, engaging with themes of cultural memory and political resistance. Her works, including B-or der, Time Paranoia, Decline, Bish az pish, and Carpet of Time, have been presented at venues such as Sophiensæle Berlin, STUK Leuven, Kaaistudios, Les Brigittines Brussels, Pasinger Fabrik Munich, and WUK Vienna. From 2017 to 2020, she was a principal performer with Jan Martens’ GRIP company and toured with Bára Sigfúsdóttir’s piece being across Europe and Iran. She has received grants, such as the Arbeitsstipendium Darstellende Kunst und Performance (City of Vienna) 2026, the Startstipendium (City of Vienna) 2024, and Danceweb 2021. In 2023, she founded the association Carpet of Time and began curating the festival Cook, Eat, and Clean, which takes place yearly at eindorf Kunstraum.

Tahereh Nourani 

Tahereh Nourani is a composer and sound artist in the field of experimental sound art. She explores the potential of Deep Listening through slowness and minimalism. Nourani specializes in extended and unconventional playing techniques on her instruments, the bass and the flute, and integrates objects, field recordings, and languages into her work.

Nourani is a scholarship recipient of the Austrian Federal Ministry f. Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sports, she is a member of the Vienna Improvisers Orchestra as well as the artist collective QMA, SHAPE+ Artist and winner of the PhonoECHOES Award for experimental sound art. She has performed at venues and festivals such as Belvedere 21 (AT), Moers Festival (DE), UH Fest (HU), and Üle Heli Festival (EE) and has composed music for installations, film, theater, contemporary dance, and performance. She studied European classical flute at the Tehran University of Arts and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) and was Artist in Residence at AQB (HU), Casa di Rosa (CH), and Hotel Pupik (AT). She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Contemporary Arts Practice at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw).

Robert Jíša 

Robert Jíša  studied under Kenneth Greenhouse at Berklee College of Music. He works internationally as a composer and lives in the Czech Republic. He has received several awards for his film scores, including his symphonic composition The Illumination Voices. His influences include Giacinto Scelsi, Henryk Górecki, Krzysztof Penderecki, Bohuslav Martinů, Brian Eno. He has been collaborating with Austrian choreographer Linda Samaraweerová since 2014. Together they have presented their work at various cultural institutions and festivals in Austria, including steirischer herbst, Donaufestival and Tanzquartier Wien.

Linda Samaraweerowa

Linda Samaraweerová is a choreographer, performer and dancer who develops choreographic works across sculpture, installation, performance, dance, theatre, video and film. Her projects are presented in theatres, museums and galleries and have been shown regularly at Tanzquartier Wien since 2009. Other venues include steirischer herbst, brut Wien, ImPulsTanz, Donaufestival, LENTOS Museum Linz, Neue Galerie Graz and KM – Künstlerhaus, Halle für Kunst und Medien. Internationally, her works have been presented in France, the Czech Republic, Romania, Italy, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Germany and Switzerland.

After more than 30 years of international artistic practice, her work has gradually shifted away from the idea of production and presentation, by being strongly attracted to an inner spiritual journey that guides her towards a deep hidden knowledge that was transferred from generation to generation within small and rather silent circles of humble human beings in different parts of this world.

Judith Stehlik

Judith Stehlik born and raised in Vienna works as a photographer and cinematographer. Her focus lies in the approach of the representation of the non-visible and the atmospheric. The artistic work is based on analog photography and film.

Johanna Zachhuber

Mag. Johanna Maria Zachhuber, MMA is a singer, music therapist and singing teacher. She studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and at the Music and Art Private University Vienna. In addition to her work as a concert and opera singer (Salzburg Festival, Bayreuth Festival, Volkstheater Vienna, Neue Oper Vienna, Kammeroper Vienna, Konzerthaus Vienna, Palace of Arts, Budapest), she teaches singing and has been a project assistant at the University of Music and Performing Arts since 2020 Art Vienna at the Vienna Center for Music Therapy Research and at the Vienna General Hospital. Among other things, she is dedicated to researching music therapeutic vocal interventions on scleroderma and cystic fibrosis patients. The concept of vocal intervention combines music therapy and singing pedagogical approaches with the aim of being able to individually address both psychological and physical aspects of the illness. Significant improvements were demonstrated both in catamnestic interviews with the patients and in numerous functional tests.

Daniel Zimmermann

Daniel Zimmermann, originally trained as a wood sculptor, works at the intersection of film, installation, and performance. His practice is based on a form of fictional actionism, through which he explores questions of meaning and the sustainability of human behavior.

His award-winning works have been presented internationally, including at the Berlinale, Sundance Film Festival, International Film Festival Rotterdam, Lincoln Center, DeSingel, ImPulsTanz, and the Spring Performing Arts Festival.
